Hi! My name is Wilson Pirie, I'm a freelance photographer coming from the North west highlands of Scotland. Im half Australian and half Scottish.

Normally, I'm jumping between countries teaching skiing living my dream, but the beginning of the horrible global pandemic put that all on hold which was a huge blow but also, the beginning of my photography career.

​

Stuck in the middle of nowhere with no car and none of my buddies to hang out with, going on walks everyday with my dads DSLR camera I found my new passion.  I just loved how chilled out taking photos was.  It gave me a purpose when going on those walks and made me look at the world in a completely different way, looking at things I'd seen a hundred times already but seeing the photo within it.

FAST FORWARD, almost a year on and I've found something I enjoy taking photos of even more than a beautiful sunset or an epic mountain landscape.

Ive always loved working with people as I've been a teacher my whole working life so I'm excellent at creating a super relaxed environment, and have even the most nervous person in front of a camera strutting their magical stuff in no time! 

I can capture those special moments you want to be able to look back on in years to come from portraits, couples, weddings, pets, family, etc.
